USRAH PT 3
Assalamualaikum and hi again. Thanks for visiting my page. Hope u are in a good health and life. By the way, I forgot to update my blog. Hmmmm. I face the Hectic weeks that I couldn't breathe normally as always. HAHAHA. But never mind there's a lot of things and stress that awaits. I should prepare myself for it.
Oh let's back to our topic. HAHAHAHAHA. I want to talk about my past usrah session. During the beginning of the session. Our naqibah has chosen 2 people to give a motivational talk. One of them is talking about ' Selflove'. I want to talk about it too. For me, it's really important no matter how much u deny it because our self also needs to be loved. No matter what happens, in the end, u only have u. There will be a time that u need someone to talk to.
Yes, we have Allah. But the fitrah of a human to express their feeling, the feeling to get heard and to have someone with them. But a lot of the time we left alone. At the time u should know that u need to talk to urself, understand urself, believe in urself, and never underestimate urself as what u think about urself will determine the result of what u want to achieve. If u feel like have a bad day, take time and list what ur feeling are. Either it's sad or angry or what. Validate ur own feeling. Don't only validate others feeling, try to validate ur feeling too. That's how u will know urself more and also know how to handle ur emotions and attitude too. When u are already understanding urself, u will never get distracted by others' words and behavior towards u because u know what u want and u have your own motto or target. Okay, that's all about self-love for now.
And next we have a quiz for each other at that time. And the quiz is about 'Iman'. So, what is 'Iman'? Islamic scholars have defined iman as “to believe with one's heart, to confess with one's tongue and to demonstrate in one's physical actions.” Why iman is important in Muslim life? Iman is the soul of hearts and bodies. It is the key to happiness. It is the mean of salvation in this life and the next. It brings contentment and satisfaction to the heart. Moreover, the higher a person climbs in the levels of iman, the more he entitled to taste and cherish the sweetness of iman, and his soul (the true soul) gets satisfaction from it. The Prophet Muhammad ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said in a ḥadīth reported by Imām al-Bukhārī and Muslim:
“three of which, if found in anyone, he gets the sweetness of iman; to make Allah and His Messenger dearer to him than anything else, to love a man just for the sake of Allah, ṣubḥānahū wa ta'ālā, and to hate to be back into disbelief as he would hate to be thrown into the fire.”
Theres is six pillar of Iman. These six pillars are, to believe in:
- Allah (ṣubḥānahū wa ta'ālā);
- His Angels;
- His Messengers;
- His Books;
- The Last Day (Day of Resurrection and Judgement); and
- Fate and Destiny; whether it seems good or bad.
Al-Hasan Al-Baṣrī raḥimahu Allāh once said:
“Faith is not by wish and adornment, but something that settles in the heart and been proved by deed.”
I think that all for now. U can visit the page that I refer to for further understanding. I hope that after we believe in the six pillars of iman, We can achieve the sweetness of Iman and also can have a better understanding of Islam itself.
I wish u all the best for ur journey of learning and improving urself. Also, pray for me to istiqamah in the learning process too. Thanks for the support. Bubyeeeeeee. Assalamualaikum.
